Original music composed for the post-documental play "She, the war"/"Вона Війна" (2022) by the Publitsist (Kharkiv, UA) and Varta (Lviv, UA) theatres and directed by Kostiantyn Vasiukov about the unfolding events of russian invasion of Ukraine.
The play follows the real life stories of ~30 Ukrainian women of different age, character and experience caught by the horror of war. The director together with the only performer of the play collected these stories themselves.

Each music track is an underscore for a story told by each of these women and is named accordingly.

Music was very hard to compose. The role of the music was to feel together with these women, share their pain, to sympathise them. Honestly I cried a lot listening to these stories, and making music for them was the last thing to want to do. The music is raw, unmastered, since it was never meant to be something polished. This is just a fixation of thaat inner state.

Technology-wise, music is partially modular synth improvisations, partially conventional recording & producing with tools I had at the moment.

All unlikely income from this record will be spent on helping Ukrainians, since the author is working as a volunteer.
